NOTICE of Election for 2026 for Officers (5). Nominations open August 1, 2026 and close August 31, 2026.

Elections will be held from October 1, 2026 and close on November 10, 2026.

Nominations for Officers Opens. You can make a nomination by contacting TBA, Nomination and Election Committee Chair, via e-mail at TBA.

The 5 Officers whose term expires 12/31/26 are:

Gene Pennington - City of San Rafael
Eric Davis- City of San Rafael
Adrian Fried - County of Marin
Richard Arrow - County of Marin
Diane Dillon - City of San Rafael

Please contact Ken Holmes, Nominations and Election Chair, if you are interested in running for any of these positions or if you want to nominate a current MCARE member for one of these positions. To be nominated, the nominee must be a current member in good standing.

Time: Social hour at 11:30 am - Lunch at 12:30 pm

NOTE: Sandwiches and burgers are served with French fries. Burgers are cooked medium unless specified otherwise.

Menu : Please select one (1) of the below entrees when you register. Same for each guest you register.

Chicken Toscana- 8 oz cooked in wine, artichoke hearts, mushrooms with 2 side dishes
Grilled Salmon with mango papaya salsa served with starch and vegetables
Spaghetti Carbonara pancetta, onion, garlic, egg, parmesan
Eggplant parmigiana (vegetarian)

Desert: Strawberry Sundae

The meal includes a club salad with cranberries, oranges, walnuts, and blue cheese crumbles, sliced sourdough basket on each table and napkins and bread plate and will have water on each table and iced tea with sliced lemons and coffee available on a side table.

2026 MCARE Officers Election - Voting by Electronic and Printed Ballots (01 Oct 2026)

Voting for At Large Directors Opens. You can vote online via an e-mail ballot you will be sent OR you can print a ballot from the KIT Newsletters. IF you do not vote by electronic or printed ballot you can vote at our Annual Membership meeting in November IF you've NOT voted by electronic or printed ballot.
